Everything coded, designed and written on this website was done by Tina Koenig.

This sort of thing is easy for me. I’ve been at it a long time. But I understand that the convergence of marketing with technology is challenging for others. That’s why I’ve decided to focus my consulting on helping busy working professionals who want to turn their dream writing projects into books. You should write. Let me do the rest. I love to help develop authors, build platforms and market published work. ~ Tina

Awkward First Person Bio

You would never, ever catch me traveling in a covered wagon, which is why I ended up as an Internet pioneer. I launched my first web business Cybercalifragilistic Gifts, a computer-themed gift retailer, in 1995. The Cybercalifragilistic concept received so much press coverage (including a PC Computing Magazine Best of 1001 websites recognition) that I decided to shift gears and help other internet startups promote their websites and facilitate online PR. Along with my husband, Michael Koenig, we founded XpressPress.com — the internet’s first press release distribution company. The business was very successful and  enabled me to spend time with my young children. Over the years, I’ve designed and maintained all my business websites. I’ve also written a lot –  everything from by-lined articles and blogs for multinational corporations to jokes, short stories, and yes, a novel or two. Very often, writers in my critique or networking groups need help with  marketing and technology. I became the go-to person. So here we are. Here’s your chance to hire me and my team to help you.

Business Interests & Experience

Armed with a snazzy film degree, along with ten years of marketing experience working with top clients like Burger King,  I launched the internet’s first press release writing and distribution service XpressPRESS.com in 1996. Since that time the company has written and issued thousands of press releases that have landed clients placements in both conventional and online media. XpressPRESS.com provides personalized service to its clients by guiding them through the press release writing and distribution process. In the early 2000’s, we partnered with PR Newswire on press release distribution and continue to work with PRN and other services to help clients maximize media exposure.

My clients and companies have been featured in several books and major news outlets including Time Magazine, PC Computing, the Los Angeles Times, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, ABC, NBC, CNN, CNBC and radio stations throughout the United States.

Books & Literature Experience

More recently in 2016 and 2017, I helped to produce the book festival known as Literary Feast. This event brings in best-selling authors for a weekend of school visits, literary lectures and dinners. Next time you’re in the airport, scan the best-selling novels in front. Chances are that I’ve worked with several of the authors, their publicists and publishing houses.

I regularly contribute essays to online parenting and travel publications. I also write for Rachael Ray and European lifestyle news provider Relaxnews — just to keep it fresh. And, yes, I have published books.

Just for Kicks

Most recently, I appeared on my favorite show, Antiques Roadshow, for which I received an appraisal for boots once owned by Clash lead singer, Joe Strummer. I was picked from a crowd of 10,000 people that day to get on air. Why? Because I had a good product. And my story dazzled. In short, I knew what the producers wanted. I may be able to help you, too. We should talk.
